Event Description

Join the Friends of Donald Park in their efforts to help maintain and restore the park's prairies and oak savannas! Enjoy the outdoors, learn about the natural world and forge new friendships with the Friends of Donald Park as we gather on our restoration workdays.

This fall and winter we will continue our efforts to maintain and expand the park's prairie and oak savanna landscapes. We work in teams, and no experience is necessary. If you can join us, please RSVP to the work-party leader, Liz McBride at elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net or (608) 698-2753 by the Friday before so we have enough tools on hand and in the event of cancellation or meeting location changes.

Donald Park has multiple entrances and the meeting location may be different for each workday. Please arrive at 9:45 am to check in.

What to wear: Old clothes, sturdy shoes and garden or leather gloves if you have them. (We have some to lend out.)
What to bring: Please bring water. We will provide tools and cookies. There will be a break mid-work project.
