Join the Dane County Waste + Renewables staff at the McFarland Food Scrap Stop Thursday 7/24/25 3:30pm-6:00pm! Find us next to the Trash Lab and Food Scrap Stop at McFarland Public Works.

Visit our mobile Trash Lab exhibit and learn more about how you can divert your food scraps from the local landfill. FREE stainless steel food scrap collection bins will be available at a first come first serve basis, for the first 25 households to register for the residential drop-off program. This event is free and suitable for all ages.
