Event Description
We have a real winter this year! This is a great time for burning brush piles, removing invasive trees and brush from our woodlands and prairies, and enjoying the fresh air and bright sunshine. Please join us in embracing the Wisconsin winter as well as improving Lower Mud Lake habitat. Sawyers and Haulers both needed to remove invasive species.
Haulers and sawyers are both needed. Sawyers must be certified and registered with Dane County Parks and should bring their own safety equipment. Fuel and bar oil provided. Equipment is provided for haulers, no prior experience is needed. Haulers assist the sawyers by removing downed brush and limbs and stacking them in brush piles for later burning.
