United Airlines Adds Non-stop Flight and More Seats for Madison Football Season

Non-stop point-to-point flight to Columbus, Ohio for University of Wisconsin Football

 

MADISON, WI – United Airlines announced its 2019, college football flying schedule, adding additional seats and larger aircraft to Chicago and Denver during the University of Wisconsin football season. In addition, there will be a point-to-point flight for the Ohio State University game on October 26, 2019 to be played in Columbus, Ohio which was added to the Dane County Regional Airport October schedule.
 

"We are proud to offer these additional options at the Dane County Regional Airport to accommodate traveling Badger fans who want to root for their favorite team and attend away games," said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi.
 

Tickets are available for purchase now for the October 26th game. The departure from Madison will be on October 25th and return on October 27th on a 737-900 aircraft featuring three seating classes, large overhead bins, on-board entertainment, and Wi-Fi.
 

"It is exciting that our south central Wisconsin sports fans will have more options for catching their favorite team across the US", said Airport Director Kim Jones.
 

"Our playbook this year will make it easier than ever for fans, alumni, and students to cheer on their teams in other college towns across the country," said Ankit Gupta, United’s vice president of Domestic Network Planning.
