Fatal Crash

 

Madison, WI- On Friday, November 1, 2024 at approximately 11:12 P.M., Dane County Sheriff’s deputies, Verona Police, and Verona Fire and EMS responded to a fatal single vehicle crash on Range Trail, just North of Sunset Drive, in the Town of Verona.

 

The vehicle was traveling north on Range Trail and left the roadway, striking a tree.  The vehicle became fully engulfed with fire and all five occupants were pronounced deceased on scene. 

 

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
