Madison, WI – Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) is pleased to announce that Delta Air Lines will launch new daily nonstop service between Madison and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) beginning June 7, 2026, with tickets on sale now. The announcement comes just one week after American Airlines announced plans to begin nonstop service on the same route, with both airlines beginning the service in June.

Delta’s nonstop service to Boston will feature a mid-afternoon arrival from BOS at 3:53 p.m. and a 4:45 p.m. departure from MSN. Flight times are subject to change.

Boston is a critical destination for business travelers, with strong ties to technology, biotech, higher education, and finance, while also serving as a premier leisure destination known for its history, culture, dining, and easy access to New England. The new nonstop makes travel between Madison and Boston faster, easier, and more convenient for both business and leisure passengers.

“Our partnership with Delta Air Lines continues to deliver real results for travelers in Dane County,” said Dane County Executive Melissa Agard. “The addition of nonstop service to Boston is another clear sign of the momentum we’re building at Dane County Regional Airport. Demand for air travel in our region is strong and growing, and more people are choosing to fly out of MSN because it offers convenience, reliability, and a truly world-class experience. When our community supports its local airport, airlines take notice, and Delta’s decision reflects the confidence they have in Dane County.”

“This announcement is a great example of how air service grows in response to passenger demand,” said Mark Papko, Executive Director of Dane County Regional Airport. “Airports can’t require airlines to add routes, but we can work to create the conditions that make new service successful. When airlines see sustained demand and a competitive market, they respond. Delta’s decision to announce Boston service so soon after American’s announcement highlights that dynamic, and when multiple airlines compete on the same route, our local travelers benefit through more choices, better schedules, and competitive fares.”

This new service further strengthens MSN’s growing portfolio of nonstop destinations, providing travelers with more choice, flexibility, and competitive options. Dane County Regional Airport currently offers 18 nonstop destinations and one-stop connections to nearly anywhere in the world.

In addition, DCRA offers new and updated restaurants, a bar, shopping and amenities aimed at making travel easier and more convenient, such as two Mother’s Lounges, Children’s Play Areas, Meeting Rooms, free WiFi-6, an indoor Pet Relief area and more. Visit msnairport.com for more information.
