Deputy Involved in Morning Crash

At 8:18 this morning, a Dane County Sheriff’s deputy was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 151 in a county-owned Chrysler Pacifica. As he approached the intersection of CTH F, a truck was stopped in the turning bay to turn south onto CTH F. The driver of a Chevrolet Malibu sedan failed to yield at the intersection and struck the deputy’s vehicle as he proceeded through the intersection. Mt. Horeb Police Officers responded to the crash. 

We are thankful the deputy was not injured, but this serves as a reminder to stay focused behind the wheel and give driving your full attention.
